WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University volleyball team, riding a three-match winning streak, are set to take on Concordia University, St. Paul in the Gangelhoff Center on Saturday, Sept. 23 in a matchup of NSIC powerhouse programs. The Warriors and Golden Bears will see first serve at 2 p.m.
Winona State has amassed a 3-0 NSIC mark so far this season and are coming of a 3-1 win over Augustana University at home on Thursday night. Overall, WSU sits at 10-1 and is one of the few NSIC programs to have dealt CSP a loss on their home court in recent years.Â
Concordia University St. Paul will likely be the toughest test for WSU to date, having been No. 1 in the nation for several weeks before falling to No. 2 this week following a loss to Wayne State last Friday.Â
