WARRIORS FINISH SIXTH AT ICHABOD INVITATIONAL

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Winona State University men's golf team competed in the Ichabod Invitational in Topeka, Kansas to conclude their fall season, finishing in sixth place as a team.  

The Warriors were looking to continue their hot streak after clearing the podium in their last event. WSU competed against 15 different teams from within the region, earning a sixth-place finish shooting a team score of 879 (+27). Missouri Western took first place shooting an 853 (+1).  

Individually the top finishing Warrior was Logan Chouinard shooting a three-round score of 216 (+3), carding five total birdies and two eagles, good for a tie for 11th. Next up for the Warriors was Tyler Johnson finishing in 26th carding a 220 (+7) with eight birdies. Following Johnson was Luke Maas and Peyton Coahran shooting a 223 (+10) through the three rounds. And rounding out the Warriors scoring was Diego Olano with a 226 (+13). 

The Winona State men's golf team is now done for the fall and looks forward to continuing their success this spring season coming in 2025.
