WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University softball team has announced several changes to the upcoming Warrior home schedule.
The Winona State – Concordia-St. Paul series originally set for this week has been moved to later in April. WSU and CSP will now square off on Wednesday, April 24 at Maynard Johnson Field.
Additionally, Winona State will play NSIC doubleheaders against the University of Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State University one day earlier than originally planned. WSU will take UMC on Friday, April 5, with game one set to start at 2 p.m. The Warriors will now take on the Beavers on Saturday, April 6, with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.
Winona State (21-13, 5-3 NSIC) will make their home debut led by head coach Greg Jones who recently reached his 950th win for WSU and Abbie Hlas, the all-time doubles leader for the Warriors. Read more about Jones and Hlas at this link.
