BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Ashley Theisen earned NSIC Pitcher of the Week after an impressive week for the Warriors.
 
Theisen, a freshman from Clinton, Wis., went 2-0 in a pair of relief appearances this past week. Pitching 3.1 innings against West Chester, Theisen allowed just two baserunners and struck out six batters to earn the win as WSU came from behind to earn a 6-4 victory. Theisen then came in relief against No. 22 Florida Tech and recorded six strikeouts to lead WSU to a ranked win.
 
Theisen is now 4-0 on the season, with all four wins coming on WSU's 8-2 spring break trip. The Warriors (21-4, 0-0 NSIC) are set to take on Northern State and Jamestown in a pair of doubleheaders this weekend to open league play.
