BLUE SPRINGS, MO. – The Winona State University women's golf team finished eleventh overall at the Central Region Preview on Tuesday, Sept. 3 and Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Competing at Adams Pointe Golf Club, Winona State carded a collective 618, finishing just behind Southern Arkansas.
Ellie Behring was the top WSU finisher with a 150 (+6) scorecard finishing in 18th for the Warriors.
Kessa Mara carded a 154 (+10), good for a top 40 finish.
Kelby Anderson and
Maeve McDougal up next with scores of 157 (+13) and 158 (+14), just outside of a top 50 finish each. Rounding out the Warriors top five was freshman
Megan Young who carded a 160 (+16).
Winona State is next in action Monday, Sept. 16 in Hudson, Wis. For the Golden Bear Invitational hosted by Concordia-St. Paul.
