Women's Cross Country

WINONA STATE CROSS COUNTRY EARNS ALL-ACADEMIC HONORS

NEW ORLEANS, LA. - The Women's Scholar Athlete of the Year and All-Academic Athletes for the 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.

Both WSU men's and women's cross country teams earned 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country All-Academic Team Honors. The Winona State University women's cross country team earning the 2024 Division II Women's Cross Country All-Academic Honors are Kylie Anderson, Madeline Palmer, Stella Rusch, Violet Schulteis, Sophia Taarud, and Ella Voit with a team GPA of 3.59. The Winona State University men's cross country team earned a team GPA of 3.33 to earn team All-Academic Honors.
