WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University men's and women's golf teams are set to make the trip out to Henderson, Nevada for the Vegas Warrior Invitational on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15 at Wildhorse Golf Club.
The Winona State University women's team starts their spring season coming off a strong fall season finishing second on two separate instances in the Sioux Falls Invitational and the Golden Bear Invitational. In their last contest,
Maeve McDougal led WSU carding a 156 (+12) good for a tie for fifth place.
Kessa Mara recorded a 158 (+14) coming in just behind McDougal.
The Winona State men's golf team comes off a sixth place finish in the Ichabod Invitational with
Logan Chouinard carding a three-round total of 216 (+3), putting up five total birdies and two eagles.
Tyler Johnson Was next up for WSU finishing top-30, putting a 220 (+7) on the scorecard recording eight total birdies.
