SMITHVILLE, Mo. - The Winona State University women's golf team competed at the highly competitive NSIC Conference Preview at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex, placing ninth out of 13 teams from all over the Midwest.
Ellie Behring was the top finishing Warrior placing 14th individually shooting a two day score of 159 (+15). Next up for WSU was
Megan Young carding a 165 (+21) cracking the top 30 individually. Following Young was
Maeve McDougal and
Kelby Anderson scoring a 168 (+24) and 172 (+28) respectively. Rounding out the team was
Kessa Mara shooting a two round score of 179 (+35). Freshman
Georgia Volley competed as an individual on the weekend shooting a score of 170 (+26) cracking the top 50 individually.
The Warriors make the quick turnaround as they next compete at the Upper Iowa Invitational on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 in Waterloo, Iowa.
