WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State men's golf team is set to tee off at the 2025 Division II Men's Golf Central/Midwest Regional hosted at St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Missouri, on May 8-10.
The Warriors are just one of two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference teams competing in the event, joined by Concordia-St. Paul. Winona State earned two team victories this season and finished in the top five on seven occasions during the season. The Warriors are coming off a runner-up finish at the 2025 NSIC Championships, where
Luke Maas was named to the All-Tournament Team and finished third individually.
The six Warriors competing include

Logan Chouinard,
Diego Olano,
Tyler Gandrud, and
Tyler Johnson.
The St. Joseph Missouri Sports Commission and Missouri Western will host 20 teams and eight individuals for the Central/Midwest Regional at the St. Joseph Country Club. The course will be played as a par-71 with a yardage of 6646.
At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 19-23 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven. Palm Beach Atlantic and the Palm Beach County Sports Commission will host the finals.
