BURNSVILLE, Minn –
Peyton Coahran earned the NSIC Golfer of the Week after shooting rounds of 69 (-3) and 66 (-6) to finish nine under par.
Coahran, a senior from Spicer, Minn. helped the WSU men's golf team take home first place at the Jewel Invitational at the Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, Minn.
Coahran edged the field of 74 golfers by one stroke, birdieing seven holes in the second round to secure the victory. His performance helped Winona State to the team title as the Warriors finished 30 under par, allowing them to claim the tournament championship by 14 strokes.
WSU is in action next for the Skip Wagon Invitational in Edmond, Okla. On October 6th and October 7th.
