BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Hailey Markworth earned NSIC South Player of the Week after averaging 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists in a 2-0 weekend for the Warriors.

Markworth, a senior from LaGrange, Ill. helped the Warriors women's basketball to a 2-0 weekend against Wayne State and Augustana at their home McCown Gymnasium.

Markworth averaged 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists while shooting 0.813 from the field and 1.000 from the free throw line across the two-game stretch. Markworth also led the NSIC with 7.0 assists per game while scoring her 10th 20-point game of the season in a win over WSC. This is Markworth's second NSIC Player of the Week award this season.

Winona State (15-9, 12-6 NSIC) is in action next, this Thursday as they travel to Southwest Minnesota State for a 5:30pm road match up.
