Sidney Paulson has earned All-NSIC honors following the 2023 regular season as announced by the league recently.
Paulson, from Jackson, Wis. was named to the All-NSIC Second Team for the first time in her Warrior career. Paulson was named the Winona State Preseason Player to Watch in the 2023 NSIC Coaches' Poll and delivered on that designation with a strong 2023 NSIC regular season. Heading into the final weekend of NSIC play, Paulson has tallied 308 total kills and averaged 3.31 kills per set, good for 11
th in the NSIC. Paulson also has collected 11 service aces and 19 assists on the season so far. Paulson enters the final NSIC weekend with 339 total points on the year, good for 12
th overall in the NSIC.
Ranked No. 9 in the most recent 2023 NCAA Division II Central Region poll, Winona State (18-7, 10-6 NSIC) concludes their regular season with a road trip to Marshall, Minn. and Sioux Falls, S.D. On Friday, WSU will face off against regionally ranked Southwest Minnesota State and will take on Sioux Falls on Saturday. Southwest Minnesota State is ranked third in the 2023 NCAA Division II Central Region.
