BURNSVILLE, Minn. - After finishing first in the Griffon Invitational hosted by Missouri Western State University, Sophia Taarud was named NSIC athlete of the week. 

Taarud won the Griffon Invitational. The Warriors earned a perfect team score of 15 points, taking the first five spots across the finish line. Sophia Taarud collected her second consecutive victory, running to a time of 17:25.46. She was named NSIC Athlete of the Week for the second time this season (9/23/25).
