BURNSVILLE, Minn. - After finishing first in the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota,
Sophia Taarud was named NSIC athlete of the week.
Taarud won the Roy Griak Suzy Wilson Women's Maroon Race.
Finishing the 6K with a time of 22:19.4, she finished 35 seconds ahead of the field. Taarud lead a 1-2-3 punch for the Warriors to sweep the podium. This helped WSU to the team title as five runners finished in the top 12.
